Sports Day & Family Fun Night – Tuesday 9th July
Thank you so much for all of the generous contributions we have received so far for our Fun Night – it’s very much appreciated. We are still happy to receive any items right up until Tuesday 9th July, so please send any donations into school with your child.
Please find more information below re: Sports Day & Family Fun Night below.
- On Tuesday 9th July, KS1 (Y1/2) and KS2 (Y3/4 & Y5/6) parents/carers are welcome to attend Sports Day (weather permitting) from 2.00pm
- Family Fun Night will start after the end of the school day at 3.15. If you have been at Sports Day, you are welcome to wait on the yard for the short amount of time between the end of Sports Day and the end of the school day.
- Any children wishing to attend the Fun Night must be accompanied by their parents or carers.
- Children will need to be collected from the yard as normal, by parents/carers at 3.15pm, where they can then re-enter the school to join the Fun Night in the hall.
- There will be various activities to enjoy.
- There will be refreshments available - juice, hot dogs, teas, coffees etc.
- Please bring small change/coins, if possible, to save time on the day.
- There will be raffle tickets on sale on the day.
This will be a lovely opportunity to spend time with your child in school and to meet other families and school staff. I do hope you can come and join in the fun and support St. George’s in raising some much-needed extra funds for our lovely school.
Please contact the school office if you wish to discuss any of the above or any other matter.
Thank you for your continued support.
Best wishes,
Mrs Anne Bullerwell
Executive Headteacher
